Description: The SynAir-G Workshop Series aim to introduce and discuss the latest achievements of the SynAir-G project and shed light on the importance of indoor air quality in schools, its impact on children’s wellbeing, and possible applications in Research and Development with the ultimate objective to raise awareness on the importance of improving the quality of indoor air and ensure safer environment for children.
In this second episode “Improving Indoor Air Quality: SynAir-G Innovations and Policy Impact”, experts, educators, and students gathered to discuss indoor air quality (IAQ) and its critical effects on children's health. Keynote speaker Prof. George P. Chrousos emphasized the impact of pollutants on children, supporting EU policy efforts for healthier indoor environments. Sessions covered EU IAQ policies and strategies for Greek schools, highlighting the SynAir-G project’s role in practical improvements. The event closed with an update on SynAir-G's future steps to enhance IAQ in educational settings across Europe.
