This is a
Prelude by Sergei Rachmanninov (op.23, no.4 in D major) that I am still working on but I enjoy playing immensely. Here, I am playing on a beautiful Bösendorfer piano (that you can see in the pictures) at the basement of the
Austria Center Vienna one night during the
EGU25. It's recorded with my cellphone and there are many imperfections. It still sounds nice enough though, and a lifetime of fond memories come through my mind when playing it. So I decided to share with you, combining the music with some pictures on the piano over many years. Hope you like it - even better, that while listening your mind wanders, recalling happy memories and meaningful moments.
Dedicated to all who believe that music transcends, that it can express the inexpressible, bridge gaps between people,
and transport you to different states of mind and memories.
