This has been a very busy and exciting year for us! Here is a musical slideshow with the highlights of all the activities, trips and
cool things the Laboratory of Atmospheric Processes and their Impacts
(LAPI@EPFL and FORTH) did as a group throughout 2025. Hope you enjoy!

Personal note: Like
any story, this one unfolds in interwoven threads. I want to linger on
the music: the excerpt from Beethoven’s 3rd piano concerto. When a full
orchestra was impossible, the orchestral voice was given to a second
piano, played by a dear friend with whom I grew up musically at the
conservatory—an exceptional pianist, and an even rarer soul. We
practiced without end, until a single musical thought united us. He
left this world far too soon. This passage is a quiet offering to him,
and to my piano teacher, for those fleeting, luminous moments that
continue to guide me — still resonating somewhere beyond us, in the
ether and in our shared memory.
