Facebook’s Libra project continues to fuel the news headlines and stirs passionate discussions, for example, on its technological robustness, its macro-economical and societal impact as well as the FINMA’s regulatory response.

The C4DT organises a panel discussion on Wednesday the 2nd of October from 16h to 18h @ EPFL room BC 420 (plan), at which a panel of academic and industry experts will share their insights on this controversial cryptocurrency project and its potential impact.

– Prof. Bryan Ford from EPFL’s Decentralized and Distributed Systems (DEDIS) Lab.
– Prof. Jean-Pierre Danthine from EPFL’s College of Management of Technology (CDM) and ex-vice president of the BNS.
– Mr. Yann Isola, Blockchain expert (Digital Assets & Forex) from Swissquote.
– Mr. Lamine Brahimi, co-Founder and Managing Partner of Taurus Group.

The panel discussion will be moderated by Dr. Jacques Iffland, Partner at Lenz & Staehelin chairman of the Capital Markets and Technology Association (cmta.).
