When left homotopy is an equivalence relation, it is natural to consider the sets of left homotopy equivalence classes of morphisms, which is the subject of this lecture.   I show in particular that acyclic fibrations induce isomorphisms on sets of homotopy classes and provide conditions under which composition preserves left homotopy.
